What do you Want your Legacy to Be?

I was asked this in a job interview last year and froze.

At the time I invested a year and a half navigating entrepreneurship, building up my image consulting and coaching business, celebrating client transformations and wins. But as a true extrovert, I found myself craving community and the chance to contribute to a larger vision.

That realization led me to my current role at the Schulich School of Business, where I connect with alumni and donors to foster meaningful philanthropy. Whether I’m guiding young donors on their first gifts or helping seasoned donors renew their commitment, it’s about impact, connection, and purpose.

At the same time, in my image consulting and coaching business, the common thread among clients: building confidence, enhancing sophistication, and aligning inner ambition with outward image to boldly step into their potential.

Whether it is the confidence a client feels when they see their polished, refined self in the mirror after overcoming doubt or the joy of a donor realizing the impact of their generosity—it is about building something bigger than ourselves—legacy.

So how would I answer that question today?

Maybe my legacy is helping others create theirs. Whether through philanthropy or personal transformation, my purpose is to help people embrace their ambitions, align with their values, and take bold steps toward their dreams.

Let my legacy help create yours.
